Full Stack Developer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services. What will you be bringing to the team? Back-end and content management services for European Institution projects’: providing technical support for the implementation, development and integration of data visualizations (e.g. webtools widgets) Develop the front-end, business logic and databases of our web applications Back-end and front-end development for the project landing page Changes to the structure of the Drupal website Typescript and javascript coding Customization of Drupal EU login module (token access) Development of Research Data Repositories Dashboard apps and integration Creation and management of vector databases (Mylvus, Quadrant, etc…) Deploy of virtual containers (Dockers, OpenShift) Experience on Serving Machine Learning models (e.g. Triton server) Machine Learning frameworks like, e.g., Pytorch for inference. Implement RESTful APIs to be consumed by web-based user interfaces using FastApi Work with Kubernetes architectures Back-end and front-end development for the vAST – Virtual Assistant tool of DigLife: support on data management and new features development. Integration of user-facing elements developed in the front-end with server side logic. Optimization of the applications for maximum speed and scalability Design and creation of scalable software and APIs. Write technical documentation Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues Meet both technical and consumer needs What do you need to succeed in this position? Minimum 12 years of relevant studies and professional experience after the secondary school Minimum 7 years of IT professional experience Excellent knowledge of microservices application design and container orchestration (docker compose, swarm, openshift or kubernetes) At least 5 years of specific expertise in the Python and Shell scripting At least 2 years of specific expertise of Vector databases At least 4 years of specific expertise of SQL and NoSQL databases At least 4 years of specific expertise in microservices applications design and analysis At least 2 years of specific expertise in Cloud technology Assesses and recommends solutions to maintain apps’ SLA. Experience in software development in various languages (Python, Typescript, Js, etc.) Experience in developing web services APIs (FastApi, nodeJs, etc…) Ability to work with fast changing technologies used in frontend applications like react, vue or angular Knowledge of SQL and NoSql database technologies. Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud systems Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
