The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of an integrated country HR strategy that partners with the business to identify and achieve strategic business goals. The role will lead the strategic development of the HR function to build our organizational capability for tomorrow’s business needs (leveraging the expert network in HR as needed) by creating a high-performance culture of continuous improvement. Job Title: HR Director Italy Job Description: Responsibilities: • HR strategy. Uses a deep understanding of the market / cluster / global brand vision, values, key business drivers /strategic challenges and people data insights to co create, design, lead and implement the people strategy. Leads processes and resources. • Senior Business Relationships. Builds strong partnerships with key senior business and functional leaders, establishes creditability as a strategic business partner through developing a robust understanding of the business direction and competitive landscape. Actively provides insights that would improve the effectiveness and decision making of the leadership team, leverages advanced influencing skills. Acts as a coach and constructive challenger. • Talent and Resource Strategy & Management. Creates buy-in for an effective talent and resource management strategy which is successful in attracting, developing, mobilizing, and retaining the calibre of talents that will drive the business forward. Participates in the organization design and definition exercise and drive an effective talent planning agenda in alignment with the global agenda. • Business Management. Has a clear understanding of the organizational capabilities and understands how this aligns with broader work in the business. Ensures that strategy of the market / client group is sustainably supported by optimal levels of people investment and resourcing. Partners closely with finance colleagues to align people and financial data to understand and support people measurement and decision making and influence investment in accordance with budget and staff cost ratio principles. Plays a key role in budget and financial planning meetings, strictly cooperates with CFO and COO. • Lead and develop the HR Function. Builds the HR capability across the areas of HR function in line with the HR Target Operating Model to deliver the business strategy. Builds a strong high potential HR talent bench in the team and contribute to the internal succession planning. Continues to contribute to the transformation of the function with a focus on opportunities for operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Ensures that the bulk of the HR investment is focused on high value activities. Leads the HR team in Italy, in strict cooperation with cluster’s HR team and HRD. • Enabling and Delivery of the Vision and Values, Employee Engagement and Diversity and Inclusion Agenda. Acts as a role model and delivers on the business vision and values for the market / client group. Along with the leadership team, builds a high performing culture where employees and leaders are sustainably engaged and are passionate about being the “best they can be”. Champions and delivers on creating a more diverse workplace by leading HR initiatives that will drive change. Ensures the business leaders are held accountable for role modelling the vision and values, and for leading the employee engagement and are actively embedding the diversity and inclusion agenda in their goals and operations.
