HTA & Institutional Affairs Associate Director, reporting to the Associate VP Government Affairs & PA, is responsible for the definition of the strategy and the construction of materials, such as position and policy papers, policy editorials, to support institutional engagement with key technical-scientific KOLs in the pharma policy and market access field, in collaboration with PRA, Medical and Marketing Team. In this role HTA & Institutional Affairs Associate Director is also in charge of: supporting AIFA relations, through the dialogue with the Agency in its technical-scientific and pharmacoeconomic components, and coordinate the operational and administrative interaction between the company and AIFA. conducting intelligence work to identify payers’ perceptions of value of incoming new products, through active participation in strategic industry working tables, contributing to the construction of the company’s position on the main development objectives of the regulatory and normative framework. Support the PRA department in the definition of Price and Reimbursement and HTA Strategy to be followed with AIFA and the relevant Commission as CTS and CPR and the relevant soubgroups, Coordinate working groups and proceed to write papers and editorials in the area of pharma policy and HTA. support and expand the company’s scientific network in therapeutic areas of interest to the company. support Institutional Relation with Health Institutional Bodies such as ISS, MoH and AIFA. Collaborate closely with territorial access figures to map key stakeholders and structure projects aimed at integrating CA & PRA objectives at the national and local levels. Develop different strategies in line with possible future scenarios in Italian Pharmaceutical Market to support CA & PRA also in terms partnership with Associations and Institutions (National and Regional) in the Pharmaceutical Environment, support a sustainable environment and ready to embrace innovation. Develop Value Based Healthcare Systems and HTA Projects in partnership with Institutions, Academia and other relevant SHs. Participate in company brand team activities by actively contributing to the discussion through sharing CA goals. Ensure coordination and integrated vision between the activities of the medical directorate, the regulatory department, and PRA to finalize P&R dossiers with strong efficacy. Skills required: M.D., PharmD, MSc in Health Economics. PhD and/or advanced degree in market access or pharmacoeconomics preferred. Scientific publications on peer reviewed journals. Experience at AIFA or other regulatory agencies, HTA departments both at regional and national level or universities is a requirement of preference. Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry in areas of market access and P&R. Deep knowledge of P&R and regulatory process in Italy. Project management skills and cross-functional collaboration across business functions. Professional knowledge of English (second language preferred).
