We are looking for a International – Sr Medical Writer  with, at least, 5 years of experience in the Scientific/Medical department of Health Communication Agencies to join our team! 

The Global Science Team contributes end-to-end to projects and deliverables development across the Agency business. Its role is to ensure that all proposals and deliveries:

1) are ground on a solid scientific strategy and accurate scientific information;

2) engage the target audience with contents that are relevant, based on evidence, and compliant with the local regulation.

Activities and M ain Responsibilities 

  • The Sr. Medical Writer-International will be part of the Global Science Team; they will contribute to sustain and develop the Agency Business, with a focus on AOR (agency of record) activities, working in strict collaboration with other disciplines and departments, mainly Client Engagement, Creative Experience, Strategy, Digital Health & Innovation.
  • The role will be primarily responsible of developing and delivering the medical strategy and the medical/scientific content for both branded promotional and unbranded educational communications, targeted to both HCPs and patients/consumers. This may include activities involving HCPs and KOLs.
  • The role will mainly participate to global/international activities; contributing to local (mostly Italian) activities could also be requested based on business needs.
  • The role will be client facing and requested to participate in internal and client meetings with EU and US based teams.

Required Education and Experience 

  • Master degree or PhD in Life Sciences or Medical Sciences
  • + 5 years of experience in the Scientific or Medical Department of Global/International Health Communication Agencies;
  • Experience with global launches of pharmaceutical products;
  • Experience with activities and deliverables targeted to international out-of-US markets (mainly Europe);
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas;
  • Experience with multichannel content development;
  • Knowledge of European (+other out-of-US, nice to have) regulatory environments and MLR procedures related to communication/promotion of Rx, Medical Devices, OTC products, as well as unbranded communications;
  • Bilingual or full-proficiency (C1 level) of both English and Italian.
