JOB PURPOSE/ROLE As an investment professional and a member of our team at AIM (Allianz Investment Management) you will analyze, monitor and contribute to steer the EUR 90 bn insurance assets of Allianz Italy in the segments Property & Casualty and Life & Health (traditional Life, Unit Linked and Pension Fund investment portfolios). You will be in charge of different activities spanning from investment planning, monitoring and reporting, that require extensive data management and maintenance. You will represent the Italian portfolios in the Global Team for Investment Reporting. In this role, you will be part of a cross-border project that aims to enhance the global investment information system and to improve the efficiency, automation, quality and effectiveness of the investment reporting. To this end, you will work together with different areas of expertise, incl. asset managers, investment managers as well as risk controllers and the financial control teams of the Allianz Group Investment Hubs across the globe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In particular, your tasks will comprise: Data management and maintenance activities Monitoring of investment limits Monitoring of investment results and analysis of gaps vs Plan Ongoing review and enhancement of the investment reporting processes, incl. identification of possible use cases for automation and support to their implementation Update of the investment reporting according to the requirements of IFRS 9 & IFRS 17 Inclusion of non-financial KPIs (e.g. ESG related measures/sustainability scores…) into the regular investment reporting Delivery of investment reporting for the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Delivery of effective presentations in Power Point and development of insightful reports in Power BI Analysis of market peers Contribution to key global monitoring and reporting projects as part of international working groups KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or in other quantitative subjects 1- 2 years working experience, ideally in the investment / finance / risk / planning department of an insurance or financial services company Outstanding communication and presentation skills Fluency in English, written and spoken Sector Specific: Good knowledge of standard and non-standard financial instruments, incl. derivatives and alternative assets Experience with performance calculation methods and with risk-based profitability measurement models beneficial Solid knowledge of Italian and IFRS Accounting Standards, incl.
