We are now looking for a IRS EMEA Product Manager Power to join our team in Bologna, Italy.

What will you do in our team?

The EMEA IT & Edge Product Manager is responsible for managing the Product Lifecycle, supporting the business growth and gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the go-to-market and the marketing plan.

The IT & Edge Business Product Manager understands the market, the different routes to market particularly the channel distribution business model, the competitive landscape, and the technical details of the product. He/she works with Dir. IT & Edge EMEA Business to:

  • Gain deep insight into customer needs and desired outcomes through extensive customer, channel, and market research.
  • Define “VOC” voice of customer and share requirements with global product groups
  • Define product business case for new products developments and execute product business case on existing products in line with IT & Edge EMEA targets.
  • Manage profitability, sales forecast and healthy inventory levels of product line and define corrective actions in term of price execution.
  • Be an expert on markets, industry trends, channels, and competitive product lines.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies and plans, which include promotional initiatives and transactional eCommerce business models, to maximize product revenue and profitability.
  • Responsible for supporting the ongoing sustaining product management throughout its product lifecycle.

Daily tasks include:

  • Develop and execute product lifecycle management plans including product introduction, line extension, engineered to order, appropriate inventory levels and end of production.
  • Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collect voice of customers and products business cases and share with global products teams.
  • Addressing actions to reduce finished goods inventory and support business decisions in case of major supply chain issues and assist in championing resolution of offering issues (i.e. delivery, quality, inventory)
  • Ensure all customer facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is available and accurate and specific for the region, country, and market segment.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, product demos, competitive comparisons, case studies and other sales enablement tools and collaterals.
  • Attend tradeshows, visit customers, meet with sales team, distributors and partners to ensure an accurate voice of customer is heard in all product plans.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales performance of new offerings, including pipeline, quotation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop marketing programs.
  • Support AE and Sales team for large and complex projects with large customization and deep product knowledge required.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master Degree in Electrical or Electronic engineering preferred
  • 5+ years technical, product/service, strategic planning, marketing or directly related experience.
  • Experience with different UPS topologies, battery technologies, and sensor telemetry is preferred
  • Strong business acumen and act as a CEO for the products being managed
  • Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives
  • Technical expertise to translate customer needs/pain points to solutions
  • Demonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, & project management
  • High focus on customer needs
  • Able to combine long term and short-term goals by setting priorities
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization from entry level to executive
  • Attitude to act as a leader in their role and with curiosity in all what’s new (market trends, new technologies, etc.)
  • Language skills: fluent English written and verbal required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
