Learn more at www.BVImedical.com Key Responsibilities Project Management – Prioritize projects, direct resources, manage projects on a day-to-day basis. Work with 3rd parties to ensure that projects are on-time, on budget and meet the agreed to requirements of our IT strategy. Work closely with Business and IT staff in BVI Regional and Global IT organizations. Support the IT team in a 3rd line capacity for technical support. Proactive monitoring of the global IT infrastructure to ensure continuation of service and correcting problems as they arise Use present tense action verbs (such as Processes, Organizes, Analyzes, Reviews, Supervises, Manages, Directs, etc) Responsible for creating and managing project budget. Will create capital requests as needed. Maintain IT asset list and ensure inventory levels are optimized for new hires and replacements. End-user IT support and troubleshooting using our helpdesk ticketing system Purpose This position is preferably intended for candidates belonging to Protected Categories – Law 68/99. As an IT Lead, you will assist the IT team with technology and service design, aligning capabilities with business goals while optimizing costs. You will be responsible for the IT infrastructure in Rome while also participating in the global IT team which would involve designing and delivering modern infrastructure solutions and services. Your role will be interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. You will require a broad set of technical skills and to be ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges Qualification 5 years IT Experience. Preferably with 2 years of management experience Broad technical infrastructure experience at scale covering compute, storage, networking, end user support and security disciplines. Design and implementation skills for the following. Active Directory Windows Server 2008-2022 Office 365 & Azure Technology Suites Experience of IT support in a manufacturing environment – preferential but not essential. Experience of IT support in Sigla CRM system and Fabrica ERP system and Bill of Materials (BoM) – preferential but not essential. Strong organizational, planning, and analysis skills with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects, manage outcome in conformance with organizational goals and objectives that produce positive results and meet project deadlines. Support to local users on 2 nd level of requests and/or changes Manage local mobile and fixed communication infrastructure (VoIP system and mobiles) and internet Escalate local request to proper global teams in charge of the resolution Monitoring the access to local servers with proper log management Conduct local server room ensuring the best environment for a critical system and network devices Coordinate local third-party suppliers on physical network changes and sourcing for IT hardware and software Take care of new onboarding users and coordinate hardware and software assigned to all the users of the site Manage local assigned IT budget it terms of Opex and Capex Maintain the printers, scanners, plotters, scanguns and other related business hardware used in the site Maintain relational database and skills to perform complex queries Maintain IIS web applications hosted on Microsoft servers Manage Active Directory users, groups and computers Experience on Electronic Billing, Labelling and Digital Signing Experience on Access Control systems, physical security and Clean Room monitoring systems Coordinate and analyze local security compliance to GDPR regulation with PIA (Privacy Impact Assessment) Analyze new software and hardware requests by local Dept. to support new business initiatives MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science/Engineer or similar sector – 5 years IT Experience; 2 years managing small to large IT deployment initiatives J-18808-Ljbffr
