This position will focus on sourcing, procurement, and vendor management activities & projects for the assigned region. It involves selecting best landed cost and strategic sources of supply for our purchased components. It will require to provide active support throughout all the accountable activities of the sourcing function within the supply-chain, both externally (suppliers) and internally (other functions/departments and corporate/higher level). If yes, we welcome your application for this role MAIN JOB RESPONSABILITIES Scouting on existing components: Dual source and re-source based on supply-chain needs: cost reduction, business continuity, supplier discontinuation. Arrange and optimize current supplier base to respond to customer needs (special projects, costs and lead time). Analysis and reporting from Excel and Dashboard BI: Provide quick overviews and clear information: purchasing cost variations; KPI and metrics by supplier, category; Sourcing function performance Purchasing contracts with main suppliers: Complete supply agreements on Emerson standard by due dates. Identify, streamline and execute savings projects. RFQ’s to support new parts creation Manage and expedite Internal Purchase Order Provide supply-chain support to other facilities in the region Identify, participate, and lead in identifying supply chain improvement opportunities/solutions Manage supplier performance scorecards and follow-up for the Bologna site Support cross-functional meetings with plant and supplier (conference call, Supplier Business Review) Cooperate with Quality Department to fix supplier issues Support Technical Department and Project Manager to find the most appropriate sources on single projects Other assignments required by line manager. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree / Technical background Minimum 3 years of experience as Strategic Purchasing Working with pneumatic equipment (regulators preferred) Proficiency with MS Office; Experience with Oracle ERP (preferred) Proficient English language skills (verbal and written).
