Key Account Manager

YOUR ROLE.

As a Key Account Manager, you will take responsibility for key customers, selected chains and B2B partners, making sure that our customers and chains are looked after, and their ideas and suggestions are heard. Managing a general customer portfolio, you will support customers in order intake, complaint handling, allocation of accessories, forecasting, maximizing their business plans, having in consideration the best interest of our customers and Weber as well.

Partnering with different internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, you will advise the Country Manager and Sales Consultants on the development and execution of strategic tasks.

This role is performed remotely in the region of Vicenza/ Veneto, our office is based in Dueville, with around 50% of the time travelling to our customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Being Weber’s main contact for different accounts
  • Accountability for volume of sales with the Key Accounts in DIY Retail, Hypermarket, superstore chains and B2B business
  • Focusing on retail customers in the channels Hypermarket/Supermarket, DIY, garden centers and other superstore chains on a national and regional level
  • Continuous analysis and improvement of sales and earnings potential, as well as regular monitoring and forecast planning
  • Expansion of existing customer relationships and acquisition of new customer potentials, while supporting them with the implementation of sales business strategies with target-oriented goals
  • Monitoring and implementation of sales and gross margin targets
  • Visiting retail platforms and solving complaints, recording of orders, intakes, allocation of accessories, collection of exhibit grills
  • Conducting annual meetings with key accounts, including business negotiation
  • Organization of activities such as: grill demos, sales help, running grill courses

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE.

  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • Around 5 years of working experience in Sales
  • Experience with premium products, branded products to chains or wholesale
  • Sales driven mentality and good customer focus
  • Able to deal with a diverse pool of stakeholders
  • Organized and able to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Clear and concise communicator, expresses information and ideas effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
