As Lead Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for: Developing and integrating software components for Robotics and AI applications Delivering Proof of Concept and Prototype projects, demonstrating your impact on change advocacy Developing the software that control the robot by orchestrating in real-time the components for perception, planning and natural language processing Developing and deploying software components according to customer and technical requirements Supporting scale-up and industrialization of AI and Robotics applications Extending your knowledge of the main AI and Robotics technologies (Optimization, CV, Reinforcement Learning), including working with other subject matter experts Working with Digital Product owners, AI, Robotics Specialists and other subject matter experts to define technical goals and project software architecture Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field Have experience with Robotics systems and software such as Mobile robot, Manipulator, Drone Have experience with open-source Robotics simulators (e.g. Gazebo) and middleware (e.g. ROS) Demonstrate experience of general-purpose programming languages (such as C++, Python) Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Software Development Processes and Tools such Agile, DevOps, GIT, Agile Have basic knowledge of Machine Learning Algorithms Demonstrate ability to rapidly understand and learn new technical concepts Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with demonstrable record of presenting technical details to a non-technical audience Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
