Your ‘day to day’:
As LINE LEAD you will be part of our Manufacturing department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Business Unit Manager. The position will be based in Bologna.
A key responsibility will be to lead the assigned production line(s) with 24 hours accountability to deliver business results according to Company strategy. Manage, plan, lead activities of production lines in compliance to Sustainability, Quality and Legal requirements. Contribute to the strategy definition (linked to Open+/IOS) for Business Unit, supporting Business Unit Manager, and ensure its deployment on owned production lines.

Your Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS
• Ensures compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and guidelines related to Quality of incoming materials, SFGs and FGs in line with the QMS. Proactively leads, in cooperation with QA responsibles and relevant stakeholders, the quality program to prevent quality incidents, reduction and elimination of non conformities in the process and product integrity.
• Guarantee production plans adherence and high consumer service level for the assigned production line(s). Lead the Production lines DDS to ensure timely triggers and corrective actions are closed to improve the KPIs.
• Define and own the lines budget, ensuring tracking and compliance to committed OB numbers. Ensure focus on delivering productivity targets by eliminating losses in processes related to uptime, DIM Waste, Yield, Overtime, R&M (repair and maintenance), utilities and environment.
• Perform regular coaching to develop capabilities of the team on the daily management systems according to the IMS and to support in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member in order to build ownership and team autonomy. Build an autonomous/self-sufficient team to drive cultural transformation

Who we’re looking for:
• University degree in Engineering, Sciences or equivalent.
• 3/4 years of professional experience in Manufacturing and previous experience or exposure to people coordination / management activities.
• Knowledge in MS Office Package.
• Strong communication, negotiation, ability to coach, teamwork and intercultural competence. Action orientation, analytical thinking, priority setting and strong drive for results.
• Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken.
