Please take a closer look… Your role in the team will be: The compliance officer is responsible for supervising and managing compliance issues within the organization, ensuring that the structure complies with regulatory requirements and the internal policies and procedures. The compliance function represents an independent body from the other organizational areas: its task is to ensure that the management and employees comply with the rules dictated by the agencies and regulatory bodies (Consob, Bankit) and for decrees like 231; it also ensures that the company policies are followed and respected accordingly and that the behavior within the organization is in accordance with the company’s standards of conduct. This translates into the following activities: Identification and assessment of the compliance risks. Establishment of the compliance procedures and policies adapting the Group policies. Ensure the implementation of the Group Compliance Monitoring programme based on the Regulatory Risk Assessment and on the Corporate Defense Model. To this end, he/she (i) must ensure that all Italian applicable regulatory obligations are included in such a programme, (ii) have to carry out the 2º line controls and define action plans if needed, and (iii) report the monitoring results to the local Management and to the Compliance department on the headquarters. Centralisation of information on compliance issues. Analysis of compliance issues, interventions and follow-up. Clients Due diligence and AML transaction monitoring. ML Risk Assessment Identification of suspicious financial transactions Assistance and advice to senior management in compliance matters. Awareness and training of the employees. Communication with the financial authorities. About you: Minimum experience of 10 years, of which at least 5 years should be in banking and developed locally (welcomed in wholesale banking or entities working with institutional clients) or fund houses, in the departmens of Compliance, AML, Legal or Audit. Education: a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, law. A Master’s degree may be a plus. Excellent knowledge of italian and EU regulations and compliance standard relevant to Industry. Languages: Profeciency in English to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Team Management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact. Computer skills: proficiency in using compliance management software and tools.
