Job Purpose: We are currently recruiting a Manager who will lead the Project Management Team . As the successful candidate, y ou will report to the Solaris Biotech Italy Plant Leader and will be responsible for the development and governance of the Project Management Team’s capabilities and capacity. Key Responsibilities : You will lead and mentor Project Managers who are responsible for the scope, schedule, and budget of capital equipment projects. You will communicate on project status and progress to Donaldson Management & key stakeholders. You will lead employee performance by preparing and delivering employee reviews, counseling employees on performance issues, and developing employee’s skills and talents. You will be responsible for short and long-term and project portfolio planning and oversight. You will be a key player in promoting safety & facilitating equipment deployment by applying industry standards for automation equipment. You will oversee the activities of contractors, suppliers, and support staff involved in the execution of project activities. You will collaborate and work effectively with teams involved in Project activities (Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, Finance,). You will develop and deploy standard methods and tools in the area of Project Management. You will also partner with the Management Team, developing business strategies, supporting/leading execution plans and maintaining a collaborative work environment. You will prepare and maintain fiscal budgets (i.e. capital budgets, cost reduction plans, and labor plans). You will facilitate team decisions on project management issues related to custom capital equipment (concepting, safety, design, debugging, and qualification). You will provide leadership and make decisions consistent with the One-Donaldson philosophy. Basic Profile : Degree qualified in Engineering discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s) with Project Management orientation is preferred. 8 years of experience in a Managerial and/or Supervisory role. You are a People Leader: previous management experience and performance management of direct reports. Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence & motivate, and communicate with people at all levels of the organization. Previous experience leading projects or teams in the area of automated equipment for manufacturing. Knowledge of MS Office package and Microsoft Project Software. Fluent in English & Italian. Preferred Profile : Proven leadership qualities (setting pace, decisiveness, change management, team development, ability to influence, organizational awareness) Ability to prioritize projects concurrently in a dynamic environment. Experience in manufacturing companies (not-standard projects). Project management certification, such as the PMP, is a plus.
