Mechanical Designer_Pisa

We are looking for a junior manufacturing/process engineer based in Pisa, able to use AutoCAD for project designing with knowledge on the principles of lean manufacturing. The Client is a multinational company focused on smart, sustainable water solutions. The plant of Pisa currently employs around 250 people, mostly technicians and engineers. The Maintenance&Manufacturing area has 13 people. Develop, maintain and improve assembling processes; Generate and update work instructions for production, tool and machines; Design and develop fixtures and tooling including selection and coordination with supplier; Work closely with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams to perform “Design for Manufacturability” and “Design for Assembly” reviews on new and existing products; Collaborate with Engineering and Quality team to fix quality issue. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in a technical field; Experience minimum 2 years about managing industrial processes; Knowledge of mechanical assembly (presses, leakage testbench, plastic welding). Knowledge and experience in Process automation; Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace; Good Knowledge of English: ability to read, write and speak well.
