You will be creating and executing designs for solutions as part of the Engineering team in MOTION, Traction division in Genoa. This includes drawings, calculations, bill of materials, engineering instructions and processes. In this role your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects. This position reports to Project Lead Engineer Your responsibilities Mechanical design and components (3D modelling, drafting, calculations and simulations). Definition and implementation of bill of materials. Definition and study of production cycles and methods. Definition and study of testing criteria for mechanical components. Completing risk and opportunity assessments, and reporting any issues for resolution. Communicating engineering designs and processes to stakeholders and contributing to design reviews and in project meetings. Working with the supply chain on vendor documentation, bids and evaluations of proposals, materials and equipment. Your background Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering. New Graduates or 1-2 years of experience in design and execution, working as Mechanical Engineer. Sound knowledge of PTC Creo, Winchill, Ansys, CFD simulations. Fluent in English. Initiative, creativity and great attention to detail, team spirit. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
