Network Engineer/Linux system administrator

For one of our Partner, we are looking for a Network Engineer/ Linux system administrator. The role requires hands-on expertise with operations, maintenance and lifecycle management of Linux enterprise systems (e.g. RHEL). The sysadmin will frequently Identify problems and improvements to the solution when stakeholders require solutions documenting engineering procedures and operations. Workplace : Hybrid (remote/on site Milan with possibility of periodic 100% on site in case of peaks to be managed). Competenze richieste: Skills required: 1. Ensure the functionality for daily operations – Install the required systems and security tools. Provide technical assistance when needed 2. Ability to maintain and create tools for the Linux environment and interest in new technologies adoption 3. Ability to develop, monitor and maintain features for the infrastructure, platform, and applications 4. Knowledge of middleware systems (Apache, Tomcat, Websphere, MySQL, MinIO) 5. Knowledge of backup technologies (Spectrum Protect) 6. Knowledge of Automation systems and balancing systems (Puppet – Citrix) 7. Experience to analyze error logs and fixing them together with the support team 8. Experience with Scripting, shell-scripting ; Perl and PHP programming languages ; Phyton nice to have 9. Experience with Cloud solutions (Docker, Terraform, Openshift) Languages : Italian and English > B2
