Role Purpose The O2C Lead is responsible for managing the O2C in Italy, supporting key stakeholders such as the FRA Head in managing risk and ensuring optimal operating results and liasing with other functions to ensure goals are aligned and KPIs are being delivered. The O2C Lead ensures risks are recognized and mitigated in a timely manner, assisting with contract negotiations and ensuring contractual disputes are resolved in a manner that protects Sandoz, maintaining the highest quality Accounts Receivables, and preserving positive relationships with customers. Your Key Responsibilities • Collaborates with key stakeholders, including Customer Service and commercial teams to mitigate and reduce credit risks • Perform balance sheet reconciliations of allocated accounts and ensure timely resolution and clean up of overdue items identified. • Ensure proper accounting of financial transactions and accounting specific questions are well addressed and solved. • Manage Credit Limits Setting & exception processing. • Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers. • Takes swift action when risk changes to minimize bad debt losses. • Support the preparation of month-end financial reporting incl. assessment of the provisions. • Support Implementation of major Project, including IT • Liaison/coordination with Outsourced activities. • Ensure appropriate reporting and metrics are in place to provide transparency to operational efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with all 3rd party suppliers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v5_RZsoOZv5c Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve. • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance. CPA or Chartered Accountant is preferred.
