JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate in charge of this role will be responsible for Essilor Blue Brands and Transitions to: – the delivery of a compelling global visibility and consumer’s experience strategy aligned with the overarching ESSILOR identity, respecting each brand target and positioning. – the creative development of POS visibility tools with a B2B, B2B2C and B2C approach, to make our lenses brands always more recognizable and desirable, not forgetting to transfer the value of the tech of the products to both opticians and consumers/patients. – the Development and implementation of a 360° consumer engagement strategy aligned with corporate Brands Teams (ie. Trade materials development for each POS touch points, promo events, selling protocol…) – the Creative development of visibility tools to support and highlight the brands presence in store – Collaborate with the Corporate Supply Chain and Procurement Team in designing the new approach to manage POS tools at a global level – Monitor TMK Budget investments and ROI A creative and project management attitude towards Visual Merchandising is key to develop always new and up to date materials, together with the ability of understanding eyewear WHS Market to better respond to different store environments. He/she will need to: – Be a bridge between internal stakeholders and create new integrated ways of working, being entrepreneurial – Focus on the maximization of the efficiency in the development of standard tools and tailor-made guidelines responding to market needs, following new green approach, and respecting timelines to meet GTM and markets deadlines – Lead each project as the main coordinator who makes all the corporate teams (Brand team, POP supply chain, procurement) to achieve the goal within estimated timelines – Track projects progress against deliverables/milestones, issue status reports, and escalate breakdowns and issues as necessary – Exploit his/her creative mindset to develop, together with a network of trusted agencies, store tools – Collect and monitor results AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: Define brand territory and visual ID. Creativity briefs for tools design & related back and forth for final tools approval, integrating digital when possible, respecting and enhancing Brand identity and highlighting products’ features. Sustainability approach to create tools with sustainable and/or recycled materials. Design a visibility calendar / approach, for Lenses and Co-branding projects. Define brand budget guidelines to align markets on what is coming and plan accordingly their budgets. Understand deeply markets and their needs opticians and their needs and listen to every input with a critical mindset, considering POV to deliver the best tools. Leverage on store visits and market survey to build strong knowledge. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders assigning tasks to deliver the projects. Manage and respect timelines. NETWORK OF INTERACTION: INTERNAL : BRAND MANAGERS (Paris) CREATIVE HUB TMK LOCAL TEAMS REGIONAL TEAMS RETAIL & NEXTORE POP SUPPLY CHAIN PROCUREMENT IT LOGISTICS (Paris and Milan) CRM FINANCE EXTERNAL : CREATIVE AGENCIES PRODUCTION SUPPLIERS TECHNICAL SKILLS – PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE Educational Background: Marketing, Economics, Design, VM Marketing (Communication, Brand Management, Product) Visual Merchandising and Retail Store Experience Expertise in Consumer Journey and Partenrship programs At least 3-4 years’ experience in a dynamic, ever changing and challenging environment Project Management: highly organized at work, experience in managing multiple projects within a matrixed organization, highly oriented to results, creative problem solving and ability to work under strict timelines. Communication: good experience in project presentations and interpersonal relationship, excellence in team working. English proficiency is fundamental, and French is considered a plus.
