CloudPay is looking for an experienced Italian Payroll Manager to join our Naples Office to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing and related compliance for a growing organization operating in Italy. This role reports to the Payroll Director, EMEA, based in Hungary.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operational processing of the payrolls along with other existing CloudPay resources. In this operational capacity, you will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information and implementation

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

Support and supervise the current end-to-end Italian payroll portfolio managed by CloudPay in-house Italian Payroll Team

Drive the Italian payroll growth process for onboarding new payrolls/new customers.

Oversee and manage the development of the team, including 1-2-1’s and performance reviews to monitor, guide and support the performance of our growing Italian team.

Seek improvement opportunities internally and follow market changes, identify areas for improved delivery/costs.

Own customer relations for Italy live payrolls, facilitate Monthly Payroll Reviews and safeguard SLA/KPI

Attributes and Experience Required:

Solid Experience Within Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and other compensation, considering Italian labour laws and regulations for CloudPay Customer Portfolio.

Compliance: Stay up to date with Italian labour laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements to ensure that the organization’s payroll processes comply with all legal obligations.

Calculation of Taxes and Deductions: Calculate and withhold income taxes, social security contributions, and other deductions as required by Italian tax laws. Ensure these deductions are accurately applied to employee salaries.

Payroll System Management: Oversee the payroll software or systems used by the organization, ensuring they are up to date and functioning correctly.

Italian Service Catalogue: Monitor and control services offered in Italy, and costs, while optimizing team capacity and resource allocation.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the payroll function.

Customer Management: act as a point of reference and escalation for customers providing excellent support and identifying root causes with sustainable solution offerings.

Empower team: create an open and trustful working environment in the Italian team which helps grow team knowledge and confidence. Promote mental health and the general well-being of the team.
