Power BI Specialist

The Global Information Technology (IT) Department of Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is actively working on rationalizing and streamlining the diverse technological landscape within the Group. This ongoing initiative bears many aspects and lead to many projects mobilizing the overall workforce of the company. We are looking for a Power BI Specialist to join our pool of experts, reporting and interacting directly to the Power BI & reporting Teamlead. The scope of this position is for a specialist with deep interest for the business and high attention to detail when designing data set ups, creating and improving reports and supporting the business within the MSC Group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the business with the creation of complicated reports (set up of dataflows; use live tabular cubes; combine different data-sources: cubes, SQL server, SP Online, SSRS, API’s; implement new features on Power BI) Investigate business flows/process improvement (review a business flow with stakeholders, realize process improvements with a Power BI report, Power App and/or Power Automate) Support activities for Power BI / Power Apps / Power Automate (daily support via Service Now and a shared mailbox; handle incidents; discuss with stakeholders within IT; weekly meetings with business users within the MSC Group) Support IT-colleagues on Power BI (knowledge sharing) Set up of data structures (design data models; set up of data cubes via visual studio; move data to the cloud) Participate in a stand-by-system to guarantee the operational stability of the business. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive knowledge on Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate Experience in BI, data science or analytics (min 2 years) Fluency in English, both written and spoken SQL ETL DAX TABULAR Cubes Data Modelling J-18808-Ljbffr
