Partner with the best As a Product Safety Investigation Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating the product safety levels, recommending measures to reduce or eliminate hazards, supporting both proactive and reactive approach. You will be in charge of Advanced Problem Solving, which is a systematic method of identifying and solving problems that affect the performance, quality, or safety of a process, product, or service. You will be accountable to foster the knowledge and application of the risk assessment methodology. As a Product Safety Investigation Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for: Addressing Site issues related to product safety in collaboration with BH Technical Authorities and Product Owners while defining site and fleet containment. Guiding Investigations to identify root causes of the issue and define preventive and corrective actions. Evaluating concerns related to product safety raised across the business, analyzing them with the help of quantitative methodology (Accident Scenario Review, LOPA, etc.) Guiding Product Safety assessment in order to identify and assess risk mitigation measures that assure tolerable risk level is achieved. Focusing on standardization and configurations, simplifying the process to shift from executing custom solutions to maintain standard products. Providing guidance to Engineering on activities relevant to product safety, promoting product safety knowledge within the organization. Establishing a network with product and process safety representatives within BH. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Master’s degree in Engineering, preferable Mechanical, Energy, Chemical, Aeronautics. Have Root Cause Analysis certification, or equivalent proven experience. Good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methodologies, preferable Apollo Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys. Have proven experience as Design Engineer. Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, analysis and test reports. Have good knowledge of Turbomachinery products (Gas/Steam turbines, Centrifugal/Reciprocating compressors, Turboexpanders). Have familiarity with Product Safety concepts and capability of understanding and applying them to our products. Be motivated and results driven, able to deliver under pressure in a dynamic environment. Be passionate about product improvement and problem solution. Be Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Have good written and verbal communication skills.
