Project Development Manager (Wind)

Project Development Manager Petroplan are pleased to be recruiting a Project Development Manager on behalf of a large-scale developer with 35 years of experience in the renewable energy sector based in Milan. The position will be offered as hybrid. Main responsibilities To undertake and coordinate all necessary activities for the successful development of the projects, with the final target to reach all the required permits for implementing the project: To take care of the project feasibility and evaluate according to the Group criteria To support HQ technical department Wind in drafting and evaluating preliminary wind layouts and propose a technical solution to maximise the producibility of the plant To assess the environmental and technical restrictions potentially affecting lands according to the Italian regulation/Law To support and coordinate the technical activities with the local and group-wide experts To identify and secure the land plots needed for the implementation of the project To secure the most economical HV grid connection and manage the application procedure for obtaining grid capacity with local DNO/TSO To support the permitting team during the permitting phase of Wind projects To develop the projects considering the quantitative and qualitative goals, applying a commercial mind-set To report periodically to the Country Manager/Project Director Wind and the Holding team in accordance with the Company Policy. To apply the correct quality control procedures, with a strong focus on HSE’s policy Requirements Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering preferred) Advanced knowledge of legal and administrative processes in Italy 3 years of professional experience in Wind projects 5 years of experience as a Development Project Manager in renewable energy, specifically Wind will be a strong plus High communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken About Petroplan Petroplan is the trusted, specialist global Talent Solutions partner of choice for employers and professionals in the Energy sector.
