The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of complex, multi discipline projects within Fugro. The prime responsibility is to ensure both an effective and efficient execution of the agreed work in such a way that the QHSE, technical, commercial, and contractual requirements are met. You will be managing or assisting in the management of offshore projects utilizing survey vessels and specialist equipment in all over in the world. The Marine Geophysical Project Management team based Rome, Italy. This is an exceptional opportunity to work as part of a regional team on marine geophysical projects, managing offshore site investigations, data analysis/interpretation and geotechnical engineering analyses, and technical reporting. Job Responsibilities Implement the company’s QHSE Management Systems on each project; Provide written briefing to project team; attend mobilization for vessel briefing if appropriate; Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders; Maintain daily contact and coordinate with project field teams; Monitor project budgets, schedules and performance against KPI’s; Administration of the contract; Manage risks and opportunities; Plan, organize, control, co-ordinate, motivate, delegate and communicate to achieve optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit and risk in marine site characterization projects; Provide financial information (with assistance from Marketing, Strategy and Analysis teams), to contribute to Commercial reports; Prepare financial forecasts for projects awarded as required within the ‘Fugro Project Job Requirements Legally authorized to work in Europe without restrictions. Possess a Bachelors” degree in an engineering or sciences discipline, project management. Have 5 year or more industry experience in Geophysical, Surveying, Geohazards, Project Management. Working knowledge of geophysical marine site characterization, offshore renewable or oil and gas industry; Experience in a project delivery environment; Strong experience in project management; Excellent communicator (i.e., verbally and written) with the ability to target communication style to various internal and external stakeholders; Knowledge of written and spoken English: Minimum level accepted B2 Computer literate, with proficient use of Office 365 software, particularly Word, Excel and Microsoft Project; Capable of generating a safe and quality-based culture within the offshore and onshore team; Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage workload; Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team; Capability to be flexible, responsive, adaptive, and show initiative in times of change (e.g., priorities, work planning/location, skills/technologies, work processes, relationships) A good team player and able to form working relationships with Clients and colleagues at all levels.
