Per azienda cliente, multinazionale leader settore Oil&Gas, sede in zona Nova Milanese, ricerchiamo la figura di un/una: PROJECT MANAGER Business Need / Purpose of Role: PM reports to the Commercial Operations Manager and is part of a Commercial Operations Team (COT). Most of his activities are during the project execution and has 3 main duties: – He/she is the main point of contact for the Customer, managing all the communication and operational matters of the project. – He/she controls the project timeline, interacting with all the departments involved in the project execution. – He/she controls the project costs, reporting the Estimate To Complete (ETC) and monitoring the variances between planned and actual costs. Some PM are also acting as Commercial Operations Manager; for details, make reference to the dedicated job description Objectives & Measurement Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities: The main activities of the PM are: – Being part of the internal project Kick Off Meeting; this meeting is coordinated by the Mechanical Application Engineer (MAE), if he was part of the quote configuration, or by the Proposal Manager (PRM) . – Reading of the project specs limited to what is of his pertinence, based on MAE/PRM indication. – Supporting the PRM in fulfilling the project items summary table, reporting the parameters useful to create the project networks in SAP. – Being part of the network “baseline” meeting (that is led by the “Planning” dept.). – Checking and maintaining the SAP Customer Order created through the automatic interface with Intelliquip. – Creating project documents based on project “documents ownership matrix” – Being part of the document’s approval workflow, according to the project document list – Being part of periodical project progress meetings with Customer reps both to Customers’ sites or in the company (KOM, PIM and other similar meetings) – Fulfilling of the “Internal Project Summary – IPS”), reporting the main data to monitor the project and monthly discussion with CO Manager or CO Director. – Monitoring project network KPIs and supporting the CO Director in preparing the budget and forecast for units’ delivery and revenue recognition – Being part of technical alignment meeting / calls also at Customer’s site. – Monitoring project costs: planned vs actuals (together with CO Manager / Director), checking both Purchase Orders placement and Production Orders, running SAP “Estimate to Complete” tool “ZETC”. – Comparing “Planned” gross margin vs “Actual”, bridging variances on monthly and quarterly basis together with Financials Cost Controlling dept. – Fulfilling “Risks and Opportunities” register, part of the IPS tool. – Fulfilling “Lesson Learned” register, part of the IPS tool. – Fulfilling “Communication Plan”, part of the IPS tool. – Supporting the CO Director during project “close-out” process. – Monitoring of the project “Billing Plan” checking the related milestones to promptly submit related invoices. – Supporting Credit Control dept in in cash collection claims and forecast – Supporting the CO Manager / Director in liquidated damages negotiation through evidences gather during project execution (tracked in the IPS tool). – Handling potential Change Orders: related costs estimation, quote submission according to the “Delegation of Authority (DOA)”. – If requested, supporting the Quality Engineer during witnessed inspections with Customers’ reps . – Supporting Project Officer in the management of the witnessed inspection notifications. – Knowing project documents status through the Document Management system and of the related progress reports managed by Technical Project Coordinator, Project Engineer e Project Officer. – Replacing other PM in case of absence (together with MAE e CO Manager). The PM could be involved and nominated also in the last phase of the quotation process, to give his contribution to the proper configuration of factors that could affect the future project PM is not involved in: – Preparing project documents if not explicitly reported in the project documents ownership matrix. – Expediting of the Buy-Out components; this activity has been transferred to the Supply Chain department, withing the integration between TPI / TMP) – All of the phases of the quotation process. Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Relevant engineering or development experience. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Knowledge of English language. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is a plus. Computer Skills: Database, Development, Order Processing, Project Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing.
