Consulting Project Manager – Public Sector & Healthcare – Delivery Assurance Public Sector & Healthcare practice helps organizations execute transformation programs in a time of accelerated change. Who You’ll Work With You will be based in our Rome or Milan office and become a part of Public Sector & Healthcare practice. We help Public Sector & Healthcare clients address topics such as organizational development, process optimization, digitization, project and change management and implementation. You can expect a uniquely varied and exciting working environment, as well as the opportunity to work with a talented and dynamically growing team. You will be working closely and in partnership with our clients’ senior management and their specialist departments. You will join a team passionate about impact, combining strategic and operational project management with strong execution skills. What You’ll Do You will be responsible for 1-3 consulting projects and will serve as a key contact for our clients. You will ensure the quality of project work and mentor your project staff. With your management and transformation expertise, you will support our clients in developing their strategic objectives. You will work alongside public-sector and healthcare client leaders and other McKinsey teams to design and implement innovative solutions. You will also take a key role in helping to build across all the elements of a new high-growth environment: creating the culture, recruiting, and training staff, creating compelling market propositions, building your personal and professional expertise and credibility in the market, and cultivating trusted client relationships. Qualifications Experience on the delivery large-scale projects in the public and healthcare sectors, ideally involving a major digital/agile transformation Strong experience leading project teams, coaching and developing staff and delivering high client satisfaction, while supporting organizations undergoing complex transformations Interest in digital business models and trends Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, combined with entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, and creativity Excellent communication skills in Italian (written and oral), suited to confidently addressing complex challenges in environments with diverse stakeholder groups Knowledge of public administration structures and key strategies and initiatives Industries FOR U.S. APPLICANTS: McKinsey & Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
