Purchasing Specialist

Function: Acquisti Reference No.: SSCPC01575 Date of publication: 2023.10.09 Position The position is based in our Office in Milan and part of the Procurement team in the Business Partner Community of LVMH Beauty Division Italy. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the chosen candidate will have a focus on the merchandising indirect spending. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor supplier relationships and performance Build effective partnerships with the category suppliers Meet the internal customers (as well as Legal and Finance) and receive their needs, providing proactive support Handle bidding (specifications, tenders, quotations analysis, recommendation) Negotiate and award business to suppliers Approve POs & Suppliers creation in the system Review formal contracts (if any) Launch and follow-up Social & Ethical audits Define suppliers mapping on Merchandising segment and source new suppliers Report on a regular basis to BPC Purchasing Director (performances, by-passes, various purchasing initiatives, suppliers’ audits, etc.) Profile Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or any other related field 3/5 years’ experience in the same role (or related) in a complex environment Excellent negotiation, networking and problem-solving skills Proactive, motivated, customer oriented and with a positive attitude Team player and with strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.), SAP nice to have J-18808-Ljbffr
