Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Regional Access Manager (North or Center/South) The Regional Access Manager is responsible for guarantee the access and the right funding in the assigned regions allowing the growing acceptance and awareness of TTFields therapy towards becoming a standard of care in the treatment of Glioblastoma. The Regional Market Access Manager is responsible for integrating strategic market access knowledge with technical skills (basics of health economics, pricing and reimbursement) and an excellent interpersonal aptitude. The employee fully owns the process of get regional/local approval and funding, in order to let the patient get access to Optune fully funded by regional/local Health Authorities. He/she interacts with all key institutional stakeholders in her/his regions, and is the face of Novocure towards them. This position is field-based and requires extensive travel (60%-80%), primarily his/her regions and occasional in Europe. The candidate is an entrepreneur, self-starter, and achiever. He/she gets energized by hard work, building and growing a business, and by making a difference for patients suffering from brain cancer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop & Champion a clear Market Access strategy for the assigned regions and the main key accounts. Ensure regional access to GBM market at the best conditions (price, routes, flows) and work in order to maintain the conditions over time, minimizing any negative impact of new policies or changes at regional level Ensure regional access in upcoming new indications, maximizing the positive impact on negotiating conditions Create and maintain a strong contact network with key institutional players and their influencers. Monitor market access and health policy environment, early identify new trends, and disseminate strategic, operational, and financial implications in the assigned regions. Develop and lead a value communication plan to drive the debate with regional institutional stakeholders and payors and implement related projects that contribute to maximize brand value (Company and technology). Propose initiatives and innovative projects, in line with the company’s strategic priorities, in order to develop and increase the partnership with regional and local decision makers in compliance with the company’s procedures as well as with the rules of Compliance and current local regulations. Contribute to build economic models (budget impact models) tailored to the assigned regions. Work closely with commercial and medical colleagues in the field to identify key regional stakeholders and support effective market positioning. Participate to cross-functional Teams, to capture business inputs and needs and translate them into Market Access activities able to address them successfully. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE: Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent 3 year experience in direct interaction with the healthcare system, at regional and local level Knowledge: Knowledge of the Regional Health System and its articulation at the local level (with specific focus on financing mechanisms, policy processes, organization of health services on the ground) Proven consolidated institutional network in the assigned regions Knowledge of fundamentals of pharmacoeconomics Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and negotiation skills Ability to cross-functional collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision Gets energized by hard work, and appreciates the challenges of market building in a fast-growing, lean organization. Gets energized by working in a start-up environment. Is comfortable communicating job-specific needs, and capable of achieving goals by balancing market reality with company requirements.
