Description: A REMOTE Software Engineer job is currently available at Belcan. As a REMOTE employee of Belcan, you can perform this work from anywhere in the U.S. We are seeking a talented Engineering professional with a minimum of 4 years of overall experience, either development or verification, a minimum of 1-year experience with embedded avionics development (requirements, design, and coding) and have an Engineering or Computer Science degree. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits including eligible for overtime pay. Job duties: · Subset of the software lifecycle (planning, requirement definition, design, implementation, integration, testing, and results documentation) · Coordination with team members, customers, and leadership to support project goals · Candidates are expected to help raise the level of performance of the team, through a collaborative team setting, consistent communication, and willingness to help others achieve success · Travel may be requested, approximately 10% of the year or less Qualifications: · Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline · 4 years’ experience with subset of the software lifecycle · 1 years’ experience with embedded software development; specifically C/C++/C# programing · Ability/desire to adhere to project software lifecycle processes · Interpersonal and communication skills · Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a required Desired but not required skills/experience: · DO-178 knowledge · Writing software requirements, developing software design, and/or integration of software/hardware integration · Model-based development, such as MathWorks or SCADE tools If you are interested in this REMOTE Software Engineer job please apply via the ‘apply now’ link provided. This position is offering a salary range of $70,000 to $93,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
