Armani Hotel Milan, 5 stars luxury hotel located in the heart of the famous Milan fashion district, is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage Department. The Restaurant Manager is member of the F&B leadership team. Reports to Operation Manager. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures that all associates always deliver the highest quality standards and provide exceptional guest service. • Works closely with other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. • Knows Micros system and Oracle symphony reports to analyse data and sales mix along with Menu engineering. • Strong knowledge of LQA standards and their correct application to ensure they are maintained at a superior level daily. • He/She also ensures that the people he supervises also know the processes and ensures that these are applied consistently. • Ensures that consistent and impeccable service is delivered to our guests. • Responsible for training, motivating, leading the dynamic Armani Ristorante & In-Room Dining Team. • The Restaurant Manager is visible within the operations/meal periods of the outlets and private events. • Providing Guests recognition, promoting good public relations, and handling special requests. • The Restaurant Manager works along F&B Management to design an effective menu and wine list. • Strategic key player in contributing to the financial success of the restaurant and In Room Dining. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE • Restaurant Management experience in a luxury environment and a Michelin starred background. • Problem solving, benchmark and innovation capacities. • Good PR skills to meet and connect with our guests. • Capability to develop people service skills and their craftsmanship for internal and international growth and identify departmental needs and actively participate on fulfilling any internal training need that arise. • Creativity and enthusiasm for exploring new products and services. • Extensive knowledge of food and wine, guest service, cost control, labour control, menu writing, merchandising and accounting. • Knowledge of LQA/Forbes standards as well as Opera PMS system (Micros and Oracle symphony). • Strong written and spoken Italian and English. • High level of attention to detail and refined manners with exceptional communication skills. armani.it
