GUCCI Men’s Leather Goods Retail Merchandising Assistant GUCCI Men’s Leather Goods Retail Merchandising Assistant Role MissionThe Leather Goods Retail Merchandising Team is seeking a Retail Merchandising Assistant that will support the team in monitoring the global business performance of the Men’s Leather Goods categories and in organizing the buying activities.You will monitor the global Men’s LG business in order to optimize the balance between assortment and stock and to maximize sales growth across regions and channels. Key Responsibilities Your key activities will include: Business Monitoring activities: Perform sales data analysis on a weekly and daily basis, analyzing different KPIs at worldwide, regional and store level Preparation of weekly business comments to highlight the category sales trend at worldwide and regional level, detect best-selling/slow-selling lines and styles Support the team in partnership with regional merchandisers by collecting comments and feedback about sales trend, performances and products Daily interface with Collection team on various activities (suggestion on new development, market needs, CO proposal, MD definition etc etc) Inventory activities: Support in managing the inventory to optimize stock level across region/channels through rebalancing actions and maximize sales On weekly basis support in managing allocations from central bulk to regions Analyze selling trends and highlight actions to regions/channels on reorders Interface with Demand Planning Team to monitor sales and adjust monthly sales plan Buying activities: Support the team in all the buying preparation analysis in terms of efficiency, average price, SKU target by function and store ranking Support the team in the OTB definition WW and by channel Support in defining store clusterization and store network by style/product Support the coordination of Master Order and Guidelines activities and key assortments by region/channel to ensure a balanced global product mix and appropriate network Input in ColOr system start up quantities for each market Post-buying sell-in analysis and support in the preparation of the buying recap documents Key Requirements 3 years of experience in a similar role or supply chain, forecasting and demand planning Educational background preferably in economics. Also appreciated for the role: engineer, statistic or mathematics Robust (and proved) Excel and PowerPoint skills; Fluency in Italian and English; Sound analytical and numerical capabilities; Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; Product sensitivity and passion for Leather Goods and Men’s Universe Experience in large volume distribution would be considered a plus; Experience in the fashion industry would be considered a plus.
