The candidate will be part of the Retail YOOX team and will provide active support to YOOX organization to achieve sales, margin, and profit turn goals through the analysis of the markets’ performance. Some of the essentials for you to know are: Location: Our office in Zola Predosa, Bologna, Italy Department Size: 5 resources (Approx.) Reporting into: Head of Retail YOOX Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing: Support the definition and execution of an effective commercial calendar (pricing point, promotion, shipping strategy). Develop reports and dashboards to monitor key business and customer trends by markets, merchandise category and brands. Analyse data and identify risks and opportunities to improve sales and margins. Analyse effectiveness of key promotions such as markdowns, promotion and shipping offers identifying the efficient mix for specific markets Work with Merchandising to identify category performance/trends by markets. Work very closely with the Marketing department to develop robust customer profiles and actionable recommendations to drive performances towards target Competitor’s analysis and benchmarking, in order to provide new approach and continuous business improvements The type of person we are looking for: Master’s degree in statistics, economics or engineering 2 years of experience as Retail Analyst or similar roles, preferably in a corporate organization. Excellent analytical skills, pro-active. Advanced knowledge of SQL highly preferred. Advanced knowledge of Excel and its main features (e.g., pivot tables, macros, etc.). Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under stress and with tight deadlines. Data mining knowledge and skills will be considered a plus.
