We are looking for Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Administration team in Italy.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, highly organized results driven individual with strong communication skills, judgment and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work in a non-structured environment.

What you will do

Main activities:

• manage day-to-day accounting activities in compliance with IFRS GAAP, internal policies, SOX controls, and external audits;
• owner of the financial close process and related activities, including reviewing the journal entries and account reconciliations within the established timeline;
• partner closely with the Controlling & Reporting team;
• contribute to process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls;

What you need to succeed

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• min 5 years’ experience developed either in a medium-large company or within a Big4 consultancy firm both in accounting and controlling department
• good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
• strong Excel and Microsoft Office product experience
• high level of self-organization, prioritization and commitment
• excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
• excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and liaise with global internal and external stakeholders
• willingness to work in a dynamic reality, in strong growth and in the phase of structuring

Nice to have

• experience in working with SAP
