Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Hexagon Geosystems Service in a holding company belongs Hexagon Group. It included two software houses that run on Leica and Geomax products. Those companies provide a comprehensive portfolio of construction and surveying tools and software. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer The candidate will have the role of responsibility in design, development and maintenance of our cloud solutions with tasks related to the corresponding implementation in addition development of front-end applications. What we want you to do: Modifying and improving existing cloud systems Collaborating with other developers to integrate client software (running on mobile and desktop) with cloud to provide new functionalities Design and implement REST API and real-time communication ways for client software Design and implement back-end database (mainly SQL, in special context also NOSQL Develop both server and web client solutions in a microservices/micro front-end environment Desired Skills We would like to see : Proven work experience with cloud solutions, with preference to AWS Proficient with Kubernetes and microservices architecture Knowledge of common tools used in a microservice architecture (like Redis, RabbitMQ/Apache ActiveMQ, Elastic Search/Kibana) Proficient in C# .Net (Core 3.1, 5.0, 6.0) using Visual Studio as main IDE (MVC, REST API, Blazor) Proficient with Entity Framework Core (required also knowledge of standard SQL, preferred if applied to MySQL/MariaDB) Appreciated knowledge of Blazor Development with docker (linux containers) Communication and team collaboration skills Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude Detail-oriented A university or technical college degree (MSc./PhD) in Software Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines A good Italian and English language are required J-18808-Ljbffr
