What you will do

Supporting the Commercial controlling Manager as well as the commercial controlling community in developing financial knowledge, reporting, guidelines and adequate tools to ensure optimal use of commercial resources in the decision-making process, to increase forecast accuracy and transparency in the Business Plan as well as Budget/Forecast process, with the ultimate goal to facilitate the strategy deployment across the Region.

Main Activities

• Support for the Central Commercial Controlling Manager as well as the HQE sales team

• Gross to net reporting, analysis and tools development
• Ensuring accurate financial information in central commercial reporting
• Supports the forecasting process, as well as develop/follow up action plans
• Supports and follows up on sales excellence projects, promoting alignment across all the markets of the region, including tools to ensure Customer/Channel/Product marginalit.
• Coordinates the HQE Marketing cost reporting (incl. HQD Marketing support)

• Promotes and actively supports the Commercial controlling community across the regions:
• Acts as a point of reference for all the commercial controlling topics across the region, performing trainings and organizing professional family alignment to create a business controlling network
• Be the Ambassador to the Finance Community from the Sales Team (and viceversa) to ensure transparency, alignment, and proactive collaboration
• Liaises with the IT as well as with the HQ/FP&A and local Finance to ensure system alignment and reporting in line with HQ expectations (e.g. SAP implementation, CAS, Qlik, etc)
• Ad hoc projects and analysis required

What you need to succeed

Must Have

• Degree in Economics or Management Engineering;
• At least 3/4 years of experience as Commercial Controller
• Good interpersonal and networking skills, both within the finance community and the Function of reference, as well as with other members of the broader team.
• Good Knowlegde of Excel;
• SAP knowledge and Hyperion
• Fluent in English and Italian;
• Self-starting and pro-active approach;
• High level of Proactiveness and curiosity
• Good organizational and planning skills

Nice to have

• Good understanding of financial management and management accounting
• Basic experience in planning and business analysis
