ADI is seeking a senior-level Digital Verification Engineer to verify Analog Front End Sensors (AFE) and Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) in the Digital Healthcare – Vital Signal Monitoring team. The position is based on the Milan Design Centre and will support Analog and Digital design teams located in San Jose (CA), Catania and Milan (IT). Project and/or personnel leadership responsibilities may be assigned to highly qualified and motivated individuals. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Verification of A/D interfaces, state machines, control logic, datapath and digital signal processing, in Analog and Digital Mixed Signal design descriptions; Development of directed and constrained random test cases in UVM System Verilog; architect, implement, and/or manage complete metric-driven UVM-SV, with emphasis on RAL, and assertion-based verification environments as determined by project complexity; Gate level simulations and debug of large digital blocks and full-chip ASICs; Support post-silicon validation activities of the products working with design, applications and test teams Cooperation with Design and Application Teams to develop and maintain the Verification Plan; Cooperation with Design Team to develop and maintain behavioral models; Documentation using revision control. A small amount of travel is expected. The position offers opportunities for development. Minimum Qualifications MSEE 4 year Digital and/or Mixed Signal IC verification/design experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong coding, object-oriented programming, and documentation skills. Strong System Verilog fluency in verification domain. System Verilog Assertion for Dynamic and Formal Verification. Verification test plan creation, coverage closure, test case, and regression suite development. Experience developing UVM test plans, environments, and test cases. Demonstrated success in project or block level leadership roles. Knowledge of and capability to execute the entire digital verification/design process without significant assistance. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/verification of custom digital interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.). Extensive experience with a scripting language (Perl, Python, C, etc.) Experience with Mixed signal verification Mixed-signal simulation (Cadence AMS), interfacing with analog functions Experience with writing Verilog-AMS and Real Number Models for Analog Functions Experience in introducing products to the market and/or customer support. dExperience with lab silicon bring-up, validation and production test support. Experience in technically mentoring, coaching junior engineers.
