Take ownership for industry leading projects In this role, you will be responsible for Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. You will develop an operational year plan for the own manufacturing activities, suggesting improvements in products, processes and procedures. You will show comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in turbomachinery products, developing a technology year plan for (a part) of the manufacturing organization and being involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for: Providing technical guidance for manufacturing activities to support development, quality and initial product readiness, solving complex technical problems that may arise in manufacturing production. Leading a continuous development in fabrication and welding technology, challenging newest industrial cutting-edge technologies, and proposing merge and verticalization with the different line capabilities, within Manufacturing department. Evaluating manufacturing processes and shaping strategic projects to improve processes capabilities, quality, fulfilment, safety, and productivity. Collaborating with global cross-functional teams to develop, innovate and implement manufacturing technology best practices in manufacturing processes. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Hold a BSc Engineering from an accredited university or a technical education and background with demonstrated experience in Manufacturing environment. Show deep knowledge of fabrication and welding process from design of components to execution Display deep knowledge of CAD and 3D Application (NX), PLM (Teamcenter) and MES. Show high skills in digital technologies applied to manufacturing processes (Industry 4.0 familiarity & mindset). Display good knowledge of Turbomachinery components, with focus centrifugal compressors. Have high consciousness of Health, Safety and Environmental practices. Be able to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions. Be able to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment Be fluent both in English and Italian and hold an EU work permit.
