Senior Optical Engineer

Are you an optical expert with a passion for innovation? TMC Physics is looking for a Senior Optical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Optical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects in the design, development, and testing of optical systems.

• Design and develop high-tech optical modules and systems for various markets and applications.
• Translate multidisciplinary customer requirements into realizable concepts and validate prototypes.
• Work on R&D projects in areas such as projection, illumination, lighting applications, wafer optics, and photonics.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams and motivate your expertise to others.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in optical engineering.

What do we expect from you?

• MSc/PhD in (Applied) Physics or a similar field.
• Solid theoretical and experimental experience in optical engineering.
• Several years of industrial experience in the design and testing of optical systems.
• Proficiency in modeling, numerical methods, and data analysis tools such as Matlab, Zemax, LightTools, LabVIEW.
• Stress-resistant, team player with excellent communication skills.
• Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC.
