Senior Principal Program Manager page is loaded Senior Principal Program Manager Apply locations Catania time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id R-10048614 Business Line Description: As a Principal Program Manager for NXP’s Precision Analog and Interfaces (PAI) product line, you will be working with products which address fast paced, rapidly growing markets, such as Analog front ends, industry 4.0 factory automation, and leading-edge general-purpose interfaces. In this role, you will work with a global network of business unit personnel and our internal and external manufacturing partners, and customers to guide projects from initial ideation to high volume production. Job Summary: Responsible for driving the successful execution of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects to schedule from concept through release for production. Responsible for project management of custom projects for key customers. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the NPI Process for the Business Line. Responsible for the Design Center Compliance to the NPI process as determined by internal and external audits. Responsible for providing forecasts for NPI project spending. Responsible for maintaining Design Center resource allocation by project. Responsible for coordinating the Project Review Boards for the Product Lines. Responsible for building and maintaining the product bill of materials. Ensure use of Sound Project Management Practices (resource allocation, project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, action item tracking etc.). Customer facing position, strong interpersonal skills required Responsible to review and approve BOM content (Enovia/ARAS/Agile), manage project files (SharePoint), and deal with resource requests/allocations (Sciforma). Key Challenges: Manage projects across geographically diverse execution teams Address challenges related to leading edge technologies and processes Adapt to, and contribute to, rapidly changing and ever improving execution environment Cross functional aspects: This role mandatorily requires interaction with all functions of the organization, including sales and marketing, analog/digital design, digital/AMS verification, bench/applications validation, ATE testing, reliability, failure analysis, and project management peers. Job Qualifications: Candidate should have 10 yrs. experience in total with 5 years in Project management involving Semiconductor design projects. BS Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent, required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be high-energy, proactive, and detail-oriented and capable of exercising independent judgment. Projects are global in nature, so the candidate must have flexibility in hours that need to be worked. PMP certification preferred. Strong Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project or similar. Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and MS SharePoint.
