The team you will be a part of The Government Relations team analyzes and evaluates the impact of government policy and regulation on the organization’s activities and objectives. Develops and maintains policies and programs to ensure organizational awareness of government legislation and/or regulatory issues that affect the organization. Ensures that the organization’s interests are represented and protected in legislative proceedings and in the development of market rules and procedures. Your responsibilities will include Participation in National, European, and International committees for Cooking (ELE and GAS) and specific WGs assigned by the Manager Represent Whirlpool in specific Country Committee and in AppliA EU Association Support Platform In activities related to standardization and compliance Collaborate with Platforms/marketing/legal/Government Affairs to execute Whirlpool strategy in association and/or IEC/CENELEC meetings Support regional advocacy strategy, development, and execution for cooking and other categories when necessary External stakeholder relationship with a focus on specific countries and EU for categories assigned Build an understanding of product functionalities and approval testing methodologies.
