JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The SEO Specialist is responsible for implementing SEO strategies on various EssilorLuxottica e-commerce properties. He can quickly understand the client technologies and codebase. He analyses, reviews, and implements technical changes to websites with the aim of reduce Google errors, streamline Bot navigation in the backend and increase organic rankings on Search engines. He advises on content opportunities and liaises with the internal stakeholders to achieve the expected results. The ideal candidate has experience in replatforming by using all aspects/best practices of a SEO-compliant migration. He monitors performances on various SEO tools and deliver strategies that will improve the overall visibility of EssilorLuxottica AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: To provide SEO analyses and recommendations based on the technologies and structures of websites and web pages To monitor structured data, sitemaps and site performance via SEO tools for purposes of diagnostic reporting on client projects To recommend changes to website architecture, IT configuration and other technical factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords To Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented To Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments NETWORK OF INTERACTION: INTERNAL: E-Commerce Business, Digital Department, Marketing Department, IT, Content Team EXTERNAL: Tool providers TECHNICAL SKILLS – PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE: Proficiency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Ability to understand crawling performances by directly analysing database website’s logs Experience working with HTML/CSS, JavaScript libraries and website administration tools Experience with third party SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Brightedge, Botify, SemRush etc.) Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Adobe analytics and Google Analytics Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Optional: Experience with Akamai/CDnetworks Optional: Experience working with Single Page Applications and client side rendering Optional: Experience with front-end and back-end development CANDIDATE PROFILE: Computer science; Information technology; Software engineering; BS/BA degree LANGUAGES: Italian English
