Within Plant Automation & Digital Solutions, the team Data Capturing & Line Solutions is now looking for a Software Engineer Expert that will secure focus and development of data acquisition. As Software Engineer, you will work together with different competencies necessary to develop and deploy robust data collection, data transferring and data storing solutions, representing the Data Capturing organization and capability. The position is based in Modena and may require some travelling (20%). What you will do Use your competence and technical leadership capabilities to solve technical problems, leading and executing the issue resolution engineering tasks Work on development of new or improved products/systems, refining requirements, designing and developing the solutions, elaborating and executing the V&V strategies in physical rigs or packaging lines in order to meet the customer expectation for quality and robustness. Have technical responsibility for the execution of specific projects activities, bringing forward new technical insights based upon your original ideas and new innovative approaches to solve problems. In this work, cross competences, such as drivers and device access layer, big data management and process interoperability are very much appreciated We believe you have Have technical education as Master of Science degree in technical discipline, preferably in Software, Computer Science or Data Management with high drive and engagement and natural attitude towards collaboration and networking. Preferably have 3- 5 years of experience in the technical area, related to automatic packaging machines, components, and Verification & Validation for technical complex areas. apply expert knowledge to solve problems. Move in a multi-dimensional task (from details to high level picture for the specific area). Combine multiple disciplines covered within D&T, from requirement analysis and break-down to V&V design and execution to network within specialists in our competence area. Have a collaboration skill, a high willingness to continue to learn and act as technical reference. Have good team-playing and presentation skills. Be result oriented. Have very good written and spoken English. Personally drive and be independent in the exploration of the given task, taking initiatives and proposing solutions and actions. You will be engaged in working and leading activities in different contexts, such as technology developments, product developments and issue resolution activities also directly at customer site. Demonstrate ability to lead, develop and engage team spread across geographies. Collaborate across boundaries and effective stakeholders’ management in matrix setup. Demonstrate dynamism and ability to navigate uncertainty. Understand customer perspective and collaborate with other teams.
