Software Engineer – Robotizr

Robotizr is on a mission to set a new standard in industrial robotics human interfaces . Traditional control systems are far too complex for modern production lines. Robotizr is the solution to enable any skilled or unskilled operator to control advanced robotic arms with minimal training and effort thanks to an intuitive no-code visual interface. The Software Developer is a key role whose work will have a huge impact on the startup’s growth and success by developing a reliable and user-tailored product . This includes developing software to extend the product compatibility to various robotic arms, and working on the functionalities of the web application. As with any fast-growing startup, we are strongly objective-driven. You will be responsible for your development goals, software unit testing, documentation, and reports . What You’ll Do: Working closely with the CTO and external partners to define the scope and scale of software projects. Designing software system architectures . Completing data structures and design patterns. Designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs. Developing and maintaining internal software tools. Writing low-level and high-level code. Troubleshooting and bug fixing. Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency. Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services. Writing technical documents. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3-5 years working in a technological role. Experience in the robotic field is appreciated. Previous startup experience is appreciated. Specific skills: Knowledge and experience with Python . Proficient with front-end languages including HTML5, CSS, C++, and JQuery may be advantageous. Familiarity with Git and versioning. Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) is highly appreciated. Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Personal characteristics: Excellent verbal and written communication. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
