Together, we keep everyday life moving to build a better tomorrow We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our amazing team of professionals in HIAB. As Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for identification, tracking and implementation of cost saving actions. You will be accountable to create, develop and execute sourcing activities. This role could be based in Italy, Spain, Ireland or Poland and reports to our Category Manager Powertrain, Plastics and Fixings. Main tasks and responsibilities Identification, development and execution of the sourcing activities across whole-Hiab spend Successful cross-functional participation in New Product Development, Supplier relationship Management (SRM), early supplier involvement and selection with technology development Lead the QAP process with support of Category Supplier Development Identifying, tracking and implementing cost saving actions Develop open book costings, budgets and raw material forecasting for the suppliers within scope Evaluate and develop the supply base Contract negotiation including payment term, quality/warranty/logistics annexes and raw material indices. What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar area 2 years relevant global industrial experience in sourcing roles Experience in working with large suppliers with global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs Experience in using ERP systems will be considered as an advantage Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills Fluency in English – both written and spoken You will be part of We offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
