We are looking for a Specialist Software Engineer to work within our Core Services team who develop centralized services for our CPAAS (Communication Platform As A Service) named kaleyra.io. Those are services related with authentication, authorization, analytics, reporting, callbacks, billing What You Will Do In Core Services team, you will be working on developing and maintaining data, analytics and reporting modules for kaleyra.io CPAAS, following Agile methodology You will conduct code reviews for the team and suggest improvements. You will mentor junior developers of the team. You will gather system and functional requirements You will write efficient code accordingly to programming best practices You will create detailed low level design documents that outline the technical specifications. You will respect delivery deadlines and adhere quality standards You will collaborate across the team for development and deliverables. Tech Stack Javascript NodeJS Express Typescript Mysql or any relational database MongoDB or any nosql database Redis RabbitMQ or Kafka 4 years of experience. Have experience of building large scale and complex systems with low latency and high availability. Have strong experience of working with REST APIs. Have experience in using Caching and Messaging Queues. Have strong experience of writing Unit Test cases. Knowledge of static code analysis tools. Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with solid understanding of logging and exception handling mechanisms. Have strong experience with Build and Release management, Agile processes and Estimations. Should be a fast learner and go-getter without any fear of failing. Have strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluent in English Good to have: Experience/Knowledge of gRPC. Experience with Containerisation/AWS Kubernetes. Experience with Html, CSS, ReactJS.
