THE ROLE Reporting to the Application Pentesting Manager , you will be a part of a global, dedicated multi-disciplinary team of passionate information security and privacy professionals. The Application Security Analyst will be responsible for performing application security pen testing, providing application security expertise, and driving secure coding practices throughout the Live Nation Entertainment organization. This position will be responsible for auditing and enforcing secure coding and design standards for all applications across the Live Nation Entertainment enterprise. This may include applications developed in-house or provided by a 3rd Party. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Collaborate with enterprise-wide application teams to detect, prioritize, and remediate security defects during the SDLC. Perform comprehensive application security assessments, including threat modeling, security design reviews, and high-level application penetration testing, followed by security issue remediation verification. Conduct manual security static source code analysis to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Perform manual security dynamic analysis to evaluate the security posture of applications in real-world scenarios. Utilize automated security tools for both dynamic and static analysis on a regular basis. Deliver hands-on technical security awareness training for software architects and development groups, empowering them to build secure applications. Collaborate with team members on various security initiatives as required. Demonstrate solid knowledge of the development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. Exhibit expertise in common software security issues and remediation techniques, such as OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, and MITRE. Support Bug Bounty programs and conduct 3rd Party Code reviews to ensure the security of external code components. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study Minimum 3 years’ experience in application development, design, and architecture Minimum 1 year experience conducting application security pen testing Knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality, and desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis Experience with performing black, white, and grey box penetration testing and system exploitation against applications, APIs, Web, Mobile, and Modern Infrastructure (Containers, Microservices, Serverless etc.). Knowledge of binary analysis and disassembly techniques to conduct reverse engineering process. Able to conduct research into real-world threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures. Experience with Development platform and programming language such as JavaScript, Java, C#, PHP, Go, and Rust Well-versed in modern authentication and access control paradigm for complex distributed applications Development experience using Python, PowerShell, C, C++ and basic assembly.
