Building the best solutions for our business

You will work directly with customers and in coordination with the sales team to position existing and developing Baker Hughes technology, by identifying the best technical and commercial solutions. You will work in close cooperation with product management, engineering and commercial teams. Primary objective is to interact in early stages of project development to increase generate demand and increase market penetration for Baker Hughes solutions.

 

As a Strategic Demand Generation Manager – Emission Abatement, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Partnering with sales and commercial team to define customer engagement roadmap, supporting early engagement through technical presentations and thought leadership workshops.

  • Supporting identification of customers’ value drivers, defining the appropriate systems offerings, and supporting value proposition development for proposed solutions.

  • Coordinating cross-functional support for budget proposals and solutions as well as technology qualification with customers.

  • Supporting our Product Leadership Team in setting up commercial alliances and partnerships. Contributing to the definition of the Commercial guidelines.

  • Participating in conceptualizing and executing thought leadership strategy to make Baker Hughes visible, heard, and pursued as the partner of choice.

  • Evaluating the application of technology for industry processes. Customizing technology and influencing customer process modifications to drive the adoption of Baker Hughes products.

  • Managing complex interactions and discussions requiring involvement of many stakeholders from the client and internally. Technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects are involved in creating the optimum solution for the project.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Have BSc. in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical engineering or demonstrate equivalent, related professional expertise.

  • Have a solid background in the process industry and experience in Methane Emissions, Rotating Equipment, Energy and Industrial markets.

  • Have demonstrated ability in the systems solution space (definition of systems architecture, systems engineering, or systems solution selling) in a process environment, ideally related to performance efficiency and methane emissions.

  • Be commercially savvy, aptitude for building relationships, understanding of customer requirements and market conditions, ability to negotiate to find the win-win solution.

  • Have very good interpersonal and relationship building skills. Demonstrate leadership skills coordinating teams in a matrix environment.

  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems; ability to lead projects and client discussions; ability to document, plan, market, and execute strategies.

  • Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations
