Supply Chain Manager

Our Client is a solid multinational Company with a rich history of providing top-quality raw materials to Clients worldwide. As part of a significant expansion and strengthening of the internal organization, we’re looking for: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER KEY FUNCTIONS This role will require an acumen for Supply Chain and Operations, experience managing teams and driving efficiencies, a willingness to take hands-on approach, strong cross-functional and communication skills, and strong problem-solving background; the Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in our accelerated growth and will report to the Supply Chain Director. Main tasks: • Supporting the development and executing supply chain strategies, on the two Italian plants, that align with the company’s financial goals • Leading the resolution of unexpected problems and production disruptions • Responsible for effectively managing and coordinating the activities of the Planning and Shipping departments to meet company production, revenue goals and customer satisfaction. • Coordinating with plant’s team and finding the best compromise solution for solving issues • Preparing reports and analysis on supply chain activities to assist management in making effective business decisions • Managing employee performance through coaching and providing feedback to ensure that goals are met • Utilizes strong problem solving and analytical skills to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiencies and throughput. KEY REQUIREMENTS • Master degree in Engineering or Economics • Minimum of 10 years experience in Supply chain with main focus on Planning • 3-5 years experience managing distributed and heterogeneous teams • High-energy manager with strong work ethic and willingness to work cross-functionally • Customer minded and accustomed to providing high level of customer service • Intellectual curiosity, a strong work ethic and commitment to a superior work product • Ability for up to 35% travel (mainly in the North Italy) • Fluent in English SKILLS REQUIRED • team player: good relationship and collaborative attitude with different countries, cultures and functions • dynamic and proactive approach • autonomous and flexible • strong ability to work in team LOCATION Genova or Verona J-18808-Ljbffr
