An exciting opportunity was opened to join our Rome Commercial offices as a Supply, Demand and NPI Specialist. Overall goal of this role is to maximize service level to our customers by having in place an efficient supply chain process to well- match demand and supply. Well-controlled monitoring system of our main internal activities and KPIs such as Bias, Stock-outs, SFA, Inventory. Ensure an accurate market demand by running E2E IBP process. Your role: Supply chain management activities: you will develop and own supply plan in collaboration with manufacturing facilities to support demand plan and inventory goals; ensure accurate supply chain parameters and data in related enterprise resource and advanced planning systems; track and communicate actively supply plan attainment. During supply constrained periods, initiate supply prioritization and develop action plan to minimize customer impact. You will be partnering with all supporting functions including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and related Global Supply Chain functions to ensure product availability, quality conformance, regulatory and financial compliance throughout the entire supply chain. Demand management activities: in your role, you will lead in-country IBP process for related Business Units, perform demand analysis and drive forecast accuracy through proven demand planning techniques including statistical modelling, consumption, events management (e.g. project, tender, and promotions) and replenishment process. You will have a chance to interact with cross-functional teams and support system/process requirements to manage product life cycle including key events like new product introductions. You will be a key user for the stream F2P. Inventory management activities: define inventory strategy and implement policies based on established supply chain techniques e.g. minimum order quantity, replenishment order point, safety stock level, etc. and ensure alignment of inventory level, supply plan and sales order fulfilment to achieve service target. Lead inventory analysis, avoid write-offs and drive reduction of Slow/Non-moving stock to contribute to cash-flow improvements and profit optimization. Process and operation excellence activities: the role will need to lead specific process and/or operation excellence programs for achieving our local five years strategy. It will require knowledge in Good Distribution Practice (GDP). Who you are: · Academic background in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management or STEM disciplines · Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (not mandatory) and previous supply and/or demand planning experience of minimum 3 years · English is must-have; knowledge of Italian language is nice to have · Advanced excel, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as MS Power BI, Qlik Sense; previous experience with SAP · Team player and continuous learning mindset · Ability to handle multiple tasks, and projects simultaneously. · Excellent analytical; systems, communication and reporting skills What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
