The Mobile Mapping Product Management Team, in the Reality Capture software hub in Pordenone, Italy is expanding and so we are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with experience in software architecture and/or geospatial technologies. The solutions created are sold all over the world for the generation of 3D maps of infrastructures like roads, rails, tunnels, building, and more in general in the context of the Reality Capture. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will support the Product Owner to address the product development by maintaining the product backlog, prioritizing features, understanding users, and translating market needs into product requirements. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will support the Product Owner to address the product development by maintaining the product backlog, prioritizing features, understanding users, and translating market needs into product requirements. This appeals to you Be part of the agile scrum team, validating the product developments according to the acceptance criteria defined by the Product Management team Elaboration of product requirements and use cases Create, execute and maintain test plans and test cases for hard- and software Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform root cause analysis of issues and defects Report, track, and verify bugs Contribute to improve the test-automation process together with QA team process improvement Work closely with the team(s) throughout the whole development process Be responsible for the end-to-end product integration This is you Degree in Geomatics/ Surveying or comparable education Several years of software testing experience and/or GUI test automation experience Hands-on experience in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting software and hardware Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to details as well as sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Fluent in English language; Italian would be an advantage Driving license (valid for Italy) In addition, the following skills are an advantage: Experience with a scripting/programming language Experience with commercial automation tools Experience in Agile software development Good understanding of software architecture Previous experience with Leica Geosystems Reality Capture products or in general with any geospatial technology like: lidar, photogrammetry, GIS, GNSS, etc. About Us Hexagon is a leading provider of digital reality solutions and employs more than 24,000 people in 50 countries.
