The team you’ll be part of Nokia Optics global network engineering team is responsible end-to-end to deliver all Optical professional services starting from the network design till validation of new solutions and implementation in customer network. This team works directly and closely with Professional Services PLMs and customers to understand customer professional services requirements, translate them into deliverables and works across all the IP and Optical functions to lead, develop and deliver on-time results to our customers. As part of the evolution of Nokia Optical portfolio the team works in strict coordination with product teams in defining, developing and delivering solutions for digital transformation. The team operates worldwide with distributed centers in different countries and has his competence center in Italy, Vimercate. As part of the digital transformation practice we searching for profiles which are strongly interested to work in international and multi-cultural environment and want to develop further their competences around digital/robotic process automation, digital twin, optical system integration which also includes but not limited to, areas like security, health and analytics. Complete accountability, attitude to work in a team, good documentation skills, good communication skills towards customer and internal teams are equally important to technical background. What you will learn and contribute to Act as consultant for customers on Optical network automation (RPA/DPA) and Open line system, security and network analytics Translate customer use cases into high level system’s high level specifications In collaboration with system integration lead help to define detailed design requirements and translate them into stories (agile methodology) In collaboration with system integration lead work to define detailed architecture and design of custom SW or/and additional translation layers aimed to automate customer networks. Develop SW solutions as defined in detailed design Prepare solution validation strategy and test list Execute internal system integration tests Help system integration lead to integrate solutions based on Open line system both involving Nokia or multivendor equipment Work with customer during the acceptance tests, integration and implementation phases of the solution. Your skills and experience You have: Must be familiar with network automation, i.e. RPA/DPA and BPM and in particularBPMN2.0. Must have working experience with scripting languages like Python (preferred), Perl / Shell (Linux / Unix). Must be working experience with REST/RESTCONF APIs Must have working experience knowledge of SW platform including virtualization /(e.g. vmware, dockers…) and operating systems LINUX, UNIX and WINDOWS. Must have good understanding of Ansible automation platform Must have working experience (testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration) in network management or NE elements domains with preference on Optical technology Must have experience in working with Agile methodology It would be nice if you also had: Know-how on YANG data modeling language in the context of Openconfig Know-how on Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) Network security know how (e.g. vulnerability scanning tools, cybersecurity concepts…) Bachelor’s Degree in IT The ability and willingness to travel as per project requirements.
